Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated 21 September 2026
We sell two kinds of piece, and they come back differently. Collection pieces are ready-made and dispatched from stock, so you can return them or exchange the size. Studio pieces are printed to your design, for your order, which changes what can be cancelled and when. Here is exactly where the lines fall for each, with dates rather than adjectives. If one order holds both, each piece follows its own section.
The short version
- Collection pieces — return or exchange within 7 days of delivery: unworn, unwashed, tags attached, in the original packaging. Free pickup.
- Studio pieces, before production starts — cancel for any reason, full refund, no questions.
- Studio pieces, after production starts — we cannot take it back because you changed your mind. It is printed with your artwork and cannot be resold.
- Anything faulty, wrong, or late — you are covered regardless, and that does not change because an item was custom-made.
Collection pieces
Ready-made pieces in fixed sizes, held in stock and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment.
Returns and size exchanges
You can send a Collection piece back for a refund, or exchange it for another size, for any reason, provided:
- you tell us within 7 days of delivery;
- it is unworn and unwashed;
- it has its tags attached;
- it comes back in the original packaging.
| How to ask | Write to us with your order number at [Email address — NOT YET SET], or through the contact page, and say whether you would like a refund or a different size. |
|---|---|
| Pickup | Free reverse pickup where the courier serves your PIN code. If it does not, we will tell you when you write, and agree with you how the piece comes back before you send anything. |
| Refund | Refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of the return passing inspection. Nothing is deducted: there is no restocking fee, and delivery on a Collection order was free. |
| Exchange | A size exchange is subject to stock; if your size has gone, you get a full refund. |
A piece that has been worn, washed, or has had its tags removed cannot be returned this way, and neither can one we hear about after 7 days. A fault is a different matter, and is covered under When we will always take it back below.

The preview and the garment it becomes
What you design in the Studio is shown to you as a render. What arrives is cloth, dye and ink. Those are two different things, and we would rather tell you now where the line sits than argue about it later.
Small differences are normal, and they are not a fault. Ink reads a shade warmer or cooler than it did on your screen — every screen shows colour differently, and none of them show it the way daylight does. A print sits a millimetre or two from where the render put it. The weave of the fabric shows through a solid area, because it is fabric. A knit takes the press slightly differently across a seam. None of this means the garment is wrong; it means it is a real garment.
Large differences are our problem, not yours. If the print arrives at a noticeably different size than the preview showed, in a noticeably different place on the garment, in the wrong colour, or showing different artwork — that is not a render-versus-cloth difference, that is us getting it wrong. Send us a photograph and we will remake the piece and send you the correct one at no cost to you, or refund you in full if you would rather. You choose which.
If you are not sure which of the two you are looking at, send the photograph anyway. We would far rather look at it and tell you than have you keep something you are unhappy with.
What we cannot accept on a Studio piece
- A change of mind once production has started.
- The wrong size, where the size you received is the size you ordered. Our size chart is on the product page; please measure before ordering. If we sent a different size from the one on your order, that is our error and is covered below.
- Your own artwork — a design that printed the size, the place and the colour the preview showed, but is not what you hoped for. The preview is what we print from; check it before ordering. (If it did not print as previewed, see the section above — that one is ours.)
- Items damaged by wear, washing against the care instructions, or alteration.
When we will always take it back
This applies to every piece — Collection or Studio, at whatever stage, whether or not the item was custom-made. You are entitled to a replacement or a refund if:
- the item is defective — the print is cracked, misaligned, peeling, or the garment is damaged or has a manufacturing fault;
- the item is not what you ordered — the wrong piece, colour or size, or for a Studio piece the wrong artwork or placement against what you designed;
- the item is not as described on this site;
- the order arrives materially later than the delivery estimate we gave you, or does not arrive at all;
- the parcel arrives incomplete.
Tell us within 7 days of delivery at [Email address — NOT YET SET], with your order number and a photograph of the problem. A photograph is almost always enough — we will not ask you to post an item back before we accept a clear manufacturing fault.
How refunds are paid
| We approve your refund | Within 3 business days of you reporting the problem (usually the same day). |
|---|---|
| We instruct the payment gateway | The same business day as approval. |
| Money reaches you | 5–7 business days after that, depending on your bank or card issuer. UPI is usually faster; credit cards are usually slower. |
That timeline is for a problem you report. For a Collection return, the 5–7 business days run from the moment the returned piece passes inspection, as set out above.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. We cannot redirect a refund to a different account — the payment gateway will not permit it.
- You get the full amount you paid, including shipping, when the fault is ours.
- We never deduct a "restocking" or processing fee.
- If the money has not reached you 7 business days after we confirm the refund was issued, contact us and we will supply the gateway's reference number for your bank.
Replacements
For a manufacturing fault you may choose a free replacement instead of a refund. A Studio piece is remade from your original design and shipped at our cost, on the same production timeline as a new order. A Collection piece is replaced from stock in the same size and shipped at our cost; if that size has gone, you get a full refund.
If we cannot fulfil your order
Occasionally a garment, size or colour becomes unavailable after you have paid. We will tell you within 2 business days and offer an alternative or a full refund — your choice. We will not substitute a different item without asking you first.
