About — Leorve
A trained eye,and a room to make it in.
Two things that answer to each other: a reading that looks at how you are actually built, and a studio where the garment that follows from it is designed rather than picked off a rail.
Our intent
We think a wardrobe should start from the person wearing it, not from what a shop has left to sell.
01 — The reading
Four things a good stylist notices first.
One photograph is enough. What comes back is not a score and not a style label — it is four readings, each of which changes what should be recommended, and why. Where a reading is uncertain it says so and stops, rather than guessing at a person nobody measured.
Proportion
From the photograph
Body shape and line — what silhouettes fall right on you, and which to leave on the rail.
Colouring
From the photograph
Skin tone read as a palette — the colours that lift you, and the ones that never will.
Structure
From the photograph
Face shape informs necklines, collars and the frame around them.
Season
From the calendar
Weight, cloth and mood — read for the moment you are actually dressing for.
02 — The studio
Where the garment is designed, not chosen.
Compose a piece — cut, cloth and finish — and watch each choice render as you make it, then turn the finished garment in three dimensions to read how the light and the fabric fall before a single thread is cut. It is made to order in India; nothing is cut before it is bought.
03 — The recommendation
A decision, not a guess dressed as one.
What comes back is a set of choices a stylist would recognise — this silhouette because of that proportion, this weight because of that season, this colour because of that skin. Each one can be traced back to something the reading actually measured.
It abstains
Where a dimension was not read clearly, it is left out of the reasoning rather than filled in with an average. A recommendation built on an invented measurement is a recommendation for somebody else.
It never sees our stock
The reading does not know what is on our shelves, so nothing is suggested because a size needs clearing. What is suggested is what suits you.
It explains itself
Every look carries the reason it was chosen. If the reason does not hold, the look should not either — and you can say so and get another.
It is not a score
There is no number rating you, and no style label filed against your name. The reading describes a body and a colouring; it does not grade a person.
04 — How it is made
Made to order, or sent from stock.
A piece you design in the Studio is printed, cut and sewn in India after the order exists. That is why it takes longer, and why you will never be shown a discount on something nobody wanted — there is no rail of Studio pieces to clear.
Collection 01 is the other way round: our own designs on Oversized Tees, with a large back print and a small chest mark, made in India ahead of time and sent from stock when you order.
In the Studio, four bodies to build on — a tee, a long-sleeve tee, a hoodie and a sweatshirt — in eighteen studio dyes, with your work placed on the front, the left chest or the back.
Where style meets individuality.
Collection 01 is on sale: four designs, each an Oversized Tee at ₹1,599, sent from stock. Anything you design in the Studio is made to order.
